Touch-a-Truck Rolls Into Downtown Shippensburg!

Get ready—Touch-a-Truck is back and rolling into Downtown Shippensburg on Saturday, May 31 for a full day of vehicles, community fun, and hands-on exploration!

This free, family-friendly event runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

New this year is a Sensory Friendly Hour from 10–11 AM, designed for families who prefer a quieter experience. During this first hour, lights and sirens will be turned off and the pace will be slower—while still offering plenty to see and do.

Be sure to start your day by checking in at the Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce (68 W. King Street). There, you’ll grab your event map, enter to win one of four BIG door prizes (including two bikes, a toddler bike, and a battery-powered Bluey vehicle—courtesy of Volvo Construction Equipment), and pick up free goodies while supplies last:

• Drawstring bags from Creative Engraving & Apparel

• Coloring books and crayons from WellSpan Health

• Free water from Negley’s Water and Well Drilling

The event spans two walkable lots filled with vehicles of all shapes and sizes—from fire trucks and cranes to utility rigs and construction machines. Alongside them, you’ll find vendors, giveaways, and hands-on fun for all ages. Restrooms and a Family Comfort Tent are marked on the map for your convenience.

At 1:30 PM, don’t miss the Coy Public Library’s Annual Duck Derby at Branch Creek Bridge!
